The short version

Greetly runs entirely inside your web browser. There is no Greetly server that receives your photos, your card text, or your finished cards. We do not have accounts and we do not store your content.

Images you upload

Any image you add as a background is read and processed locally on your own device. It is used only to draw your card in your browser and is never transmitted to us or to any third party. When you download a card, the image is generated on your device and saved by your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

Text you enter

The text you type is used only to render your card in your browser. The one exception is the optional “Translate text” button: if you choose to use it, the text in those fields (never your images) is sent to a third-party translation service (MyMemory and/or Google Translate) to return a translation. Please don’t use that optional feature for sensitive information.

Advertising & cookies

This site may display advertising. Third-party ad providers (for example Google AdSense) may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, in accordance with their own privacy policies. You can manage ad personalisation through your Google Ad Settings and your browser’s cookie controls.

Analytics

Greetly does not include first-party analytics or tracking by default. If analytics are added later, this policy will be updated.

Children

Greetly is a general-audience tool and is not directed at children under 13.

About Greetly

Greetly is a free, fast and private card maker that runs entirely in your web browser. It lets anyone design beautiful, magazine-style editorial cards and greeting cards for any occasion — Eid, Birthday, Diwali, Wedding, Christmas, Ramadan, New Year, anniversaries, thank-you notes and more — and download them as a high-resolution JPEG or PNG in a single click. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no software to install.

What you can make

Choose between clean editorial layouts inspired by print magazines and warm celebration templates for festivals and personal milestones. Pick an orientation — square for Instagram, portrait story for WhatsApp status and Instagram/Facebook stories, or landscape — add your own photo as the background, type your message, and Greetly handles the typography, spacing and balance for you.

Built for many languages

Greetly supports English, Arabic, Urdu and Hindi out of the box, with professional fonts bundled directly into the app (Noto Nastaliq Urdu, Amiri and Noto Sans Devanagari). Right-to-left scripts render correctly, so you can write a heartfelt message in your own language and share it instantly.

Features at a glance

Private by design

Your photos and your card text are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to a Greetly server. There are no accounts and we never store your content. Greetly is a tool you can trust with personal moments.
